Greenhouse Opening Tomorrow
Help open the APTUS Teaching Landscape greenhouse for year-round programs benefiting children with complex disabilities and our community.

Please join us and help open the APTUS Teaching Landscape greenhouse for year-round programs benefitting children with complex disabilities and the greater Toronto community.

The new greenhouse is set to open in Anthony Road Park as part of the APTUS Treatment Centre. It is furnished with a classroom, washroom and 60 metres of growing tables. Community members can help by: lining the growing tables with sheet plastic; mixing dirt and compost; loading each growing table with soil mix; watering soil – all ages welcome. Water, treats and lunch will be provided (including vegetarian option)

TOMORROW, Saturday March 11th at 10 a.m. at APTUS Teaching Landscape at 111 Anthony Road.

You can also visit www.teachinglandscape.com for info on Saturday community programs and Tuesday/Thursday high school volunteering hour opportunities beginning in March.

Sheppard Ave. Road Resurfacing
As part of the capital works, road resurfacing work will take place on Sheppard Avenue from East of Keele street to West of Allen Road.  Regular contract hours are going to be extended hours from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.  Some overnight work will take place as well. Back Creek Community Farm Fresh Produce Program
Back Creek Community Farm is currently planning an exciting line up of crops for 2017. They will be growing approximately 30 different crops this season, and the program will provide 20 weeks of fresh seasonal vegetables, starting around mid-June and running until the end of October.
